Who We Are

Proposition 68 began as Senate Bill 5, The California Clean Water & Safe Parks Act. In September 2017, SB5 passed with bipartisan support and was signed by Governor Jerry Brown, placing Prop 68 on the June 5th 2018 statewide ballot. Former Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin de León, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, and Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia, Chair, Committee on Water, Parks, and Wildlife are honorary campaign co-chairs.

The Yes on 68 campaign is supported by a wide range of organizations working together to protect and strengthen California’s clean drinking water, safe parks, and natural resources, and make our environment more resilient to a changing climate.
